Boetti Alighiero:  was born in Turin in 1940 and now lives in Rome.


He is self-taught and follows the Pop-Art trend, making pencil sketches or using other graphic means on commonly used objects.

In 1969-70 he became part of the Impoverished art (Arte povera) group.




In 1986 and 1990 he was present at the Venice Biennial Exhibition.

Subjects and techniques

Like all conceptual artists, he uses unusual materials that reflect the momentary functionality of the theme.

His search has developed in the conceptual direction, with special attention to the brightness and combination effects.
